Super Charged Part 1

I have been juicing a drink that has celery, carrot, beet and apples. 8oz first thing in the morning on an empty stomach 30 minutes befor drinking or eating anything else. I am here to tell you it is amazing! The energy I have...WOW really no need for coffee. Yes, you heard me right, I said no need for coffee. This will be a 4 part blog that will deep dive into the benefit of each ingredient.



Celery…. really?  It’s just water in a green stick, right?  It’s a peanut butter boat for parties!

Celery is a “superfood” with lots of amazing health benefits. 

Reduces Inflammation

Celery is rich in antioxidants like ferulic acid, caffeic acid and quecetin.  In fact, it has 12 kinds of antioxidants.  These antioxidants help decrease inflammation that free radicals in the body cause.  Arthritis, cancer, heart disease, liver and kidney infections, joint pain, and skin disorders are just a few of the chronic health issues that are all caused by inflammation from free radicals.

Reduces Heart Disease

If you eat celery on a regular basis, it has been found to decrease high cholesterol and decrease high blood pressure. 3-n-butylphthalide (BuPh) is a unique compound in celery that lowers fat in the blood. Celery has a muscle relaxant property which can help control blood pressure.

Prevents Liver Diseases 

Celery can help kidney and liver diseases because celery is high in vitamin C, B, A and iron. Celery also has diuretic properties thus removing toxins and waste.

These compounds are well-known for its bioactivities such as antiplatelet-aggregatory, anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, antibacterial and cytotoxic properties.  Bottom line these properties boost the immune system andinhibit the growth of cancer, especially intestinal cancer, breast cancer and leukemia.

Celery contains tannins, flavonoids, alkaloids and volatile oils that have the ability to nourish the colon, stomach, and intestines. In fact, the ethanol extract in celery helps prevent the formation of ulcers in the lining of the digestive tract.
