Super Charged Part 3 It’s a Garden Party Lettuce Turnip the BEET!!

People have a love hate relationship with beets.  I personally do not like the taste of cooked or raw beets.  However, Trish AKA the Health Honey loves them.  I have been doing beet powder in smoothies from time to time.  Trish eats beets on a regular basis. Nothing beets (no pun intended) the real deal.  That’s why this 3rd ingredient in Live Life Stay Young’s Super charged Super Juice is beets. 




Beet juice has lots of benefits. Beets are packed full of folate (vitamin B9) manganese, potassium, iron and vitamin C.  Beets contain phytonutrients called betalians.  Betanin and vulgaxanthin have been studied the most.  Both have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and detoxification capabilities.  The red color of the beet comes from the phytonutrients betacyanins and betaxanthins that also are antioxidants.
